Dear Redeemer Family:
Here are some thing I want to share with you.
LIVE VIDEO WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY
This coming Sunday morning, April 5, we will have a DRIVE-IN COMMUNION SERVICE in our church's parking lot.
We will again live video stream the morning worship service, let by Holly, Tim, and myself. Begins at 10:30 AM. This will be on YouTube. Click on this link, and then click on the live service. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8U3rY0m-fmQVSlhvWfQ7xw
DRIVE-IN COMMUNION THIS SUNDAY
FROM NOON - 12:45 we will have communion in our cars. Please come during that time window.
USHERS will be stationed at our parking lot entrances to direct you where to get in line.
A table at the main entrance will have pre-sealed/wrapped communion cups with juice and wafers. One person, wearing protective gloves, will have placed the cups on a table. No one will touch these with their hands. This will be a virus-free experience!
One person from the car can go out and take one or more cups for persons in your car. We'll also have a paper with communion scriptures and suggestions.
You may park in one of our lots and take communion, or may choose to drive somewhere else to do this.
Also, for any who would like to give their offering at that time, a basket will be available to place your offering in.
Even though we are practicing social distancing, this is an opportunity to see you and connect.
Hope to see you this Sunday morning, if only through your car window!
Love,
PJ

GIVING
Churches across our nation (and the world) have cancelled Sunday morning services. Many of them are video-streaming their services, as we are.
Pastors are sharing their concerns about giving, since offering times are not happening on Sunday mornings.
This is a concern of mine, too. I am praying that giving to the General Fund will be maintained at Redeemer.
And, as I pray for our church’s budget needs, I am praying for people who have been laid off or even lost their jobs (yes, this has happened to some Redeemer people). I am praying for their financial provision during this difficult time. I am praying for you, for physical and economic well-being!
In the midst of all this, I want to encourage you to continue giving to our church's General Fund. The General Fund is for staff salaries (I don't take a salary), mortgage, utilities, the new cleaning service we just hired, insurance, and all it takes to keep the infrastructure going.
You can give to the General Fund in two ways:
1) ONLINE GIVING (Which is how Linda and I now do this - yes, it is secure). Click HERE.
2) BY CHECK - you can mail your check to the church address; Redeemer Fellowship Church, 5305 Evergreen, Monroe, MI. 48161
My praying often goes like this: "God, bring our people and our church through this time. Be our great Provider. Thank you that you work all things together for good, to those who love you!"
Amen,
PJ
