Here are discipleship opportunities at Redeemer. We (like you?) are a discipling church!
Hello Redeemer Family:
Here are some things I want to share with you.
YOUTH KICKOFF - This Thursday, Sept. 12, 6 - 8:30 PM.
JEFF & ANNIE DIESELBERG from NightLight International in Bangkok, Thailand, are with us this Sunday morning. Jeff will preach - thank you! NightLight is a ministry Redeemer has supported for many years. See more about NightLight HERE.
INSIDE/OUT THIS THURSDAY - I will teach session 2 of How God Changes the Human Heart. Even if you missed session 1 (which was an introduction) you can come to session 2. (I am now writing my fourth book - How God Changes the Human Heart.)
FULL LIFE IN CHRIST: This is our foundational discipleship class. If you have not taken this yet, or desire to go through it again, it will be on Mondays, 7-9 PM, beginning Sept. 16. The third semester class will be on Sundays, 6-8 PM, beginning on Sept. 15.
PRAYING MEN: Meets Sunday mornings, 9:30 AM, in Redeemer's prayer room. (Thank you Tim Curry and all the men who share in this prayer ministry!
PRAYING WOMEN: “A mighty roar is rising up in my daughters. A mighty roar will come from my daughters as they gather together.” Women of all ages are invited to gather together on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am in the church “Living Room” to contend in prayer. We will begin this coming Sunday, September 15th." (Thank you Jaymi Tettaw for your vision and leadership!)
PRAYER MEETING: I felt led to give a CALL TO PRAYER - Thursday night, Sept. 19, 7 PM. I'll be in the sanctuary praying for many things - our nation, the Backlund meetings, churches in America, and other things God wants us to pray for. I invite the Redeemer family to join me.
NOTE: The real strength of a church is the number of praying people it has. Not how many fill the seats. But, how many are on their knees.
STEVE AND WENDY BACKLUND FROM BETHEL REDDING will be with us for three days! Friday, Sept. 20, 6:30 PM. Sat. morning, Sept 21, 10 AM. Sat evening, Sept 21, 6:30 PM. Sunday morning, Sept 22, 10:30 AM. Sunday evening, Sept 22, 6:30 PM. This is going to be an amazing weekend - we will never be the same again!
