Green Lake Conference - 2015 (hsrm.org) |
I have a stack of spiritual journals dating from 1977. That was the year I taught my first course on prayer at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. I am certain I got more out of that class than any of my students.
A spiritual journal is a record of the voice and activity of God in your life. As you are praying, when God speaks to you write it down in your journal.
One benefit of keeping a spiritual journal is that it helps me to remember. Linda and I re-read what God has said to us and done for us in the past. This is encouraging, since remembering brings hope. Hope is the expectation of a promised future.
