Linda and I got away for two days to celebrate Valentine's Day. V-Day is a good excuse to nurture our love and marriage. We stayed overnight at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit Friday night. What a beautiful hotel! Detroit is an amazing architectural city, and we had quite a view of the Penobscot Building from our window on the 17th floor.
On Saturday we went to the Detroit Institute of Arts. The DIA is newly renovated and spectacular. We spent about four hours, and decided to leave when our legs got tired. This is a world class facility, and a pleasure to explore.
Love, creativity, and inspiration. Plus some very good food. It was a beautiful Valentine weekend.
