Going to See "The Hobbit" this Sunday
Linda and I are going to see "The Hobbit" this Sunday afternoon.
If you want to join us we're seeing it at Franklin Park Cinemas in Toledo (Westfield Mall).
We're going to the non-3D version at 4 PM.
The 3D version is at 4:30.
We're planning on going early to eat in the food court (one of our favorite Mediterranean restaurants is there!). We'll get our tickets when we arrive.
Let's gather in the food court (if before 3:30) and in the theatre lobby after 3:30.
Afterwards we may hit Starbuck's or coffee in center of the mall.
For the Christian Post's movie review go here - 'The Hobbit' Movie Review: A Wondrous Journey Well Worth Taking.
Here's another Christian review which concludes: "AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY is a grand piece of epic filmmaking. Magnificent sets, wondrous vistas, and tremendous battles make this an epic to be reckoned with. That said, some battles go on too long, some of the journey is repetitious, and some of the violence is too intense and scary for children. Also, one of Gandalf’s friends is more like a warlock. Even so, the overall character arcs and story are exciting, uplifting, moral, and redemptive. Also, THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY talks about self-sacrifice, kindness, and redemption as the key to success, not greed and hunger for power. "
