I am a Michigan State University fan. Linda and I watched them beat U-Conn tonight. My son Josh, one of the biggest MSU fans I know, watched it at some friends' house.
For eleven years we lived in a house across from MSU's campus where I worked as a campus minister. Even though I graduated from Northwestern I became an MSU fan, even when they played NU.
Last fall I took Josh to Ford Field to watch MSU play North Carolina. We got crushed, while playing a fourth game in a short period of time + without Goran Suton. Now it looks like there will be a rematch in the same building... for the national championship.
