- a gift from God
- something that had infinite dimensions for exploration
- a spiritual quality that must be consistently cultivated
- facilitating an intimate relationship with God
- being-led into the presence of God
- Sacred time
- Self-purification time
- responding in a spirit of humility to the activity of God's grace in daily life
